South Main Street Perry, New York

The green store front in this painting is the old Wyoming County Arts Council Gallery. Up the street on the hill is the library that houses a permanent collection of L. Wiles paintings, well worth seeing. As I painted in the spring of 1995, little did I know that, the painting would end up hanging in the new Wyoming County Arts Council Gallery a half a block behind me. The All-Weather Gang had an exhibition there May 3 - June 14, 1996. After the exhibition I presented the painting to the Council as thanks for all the good work Karen McCulley and staff had done. The All-Weather Gang has scheduled a return exhibit for May of 1998. A lot of art for such a small town! Remember it's never to early to make your travel plans.
